I had a great stay at comfy HR. Sandra is such a great help and so nice. It was a good relaxed place to be to unwind after a party week elsewhere.

A great value hostel! Sandra (the owner) and all the staff were great and helpful with all of our questions. Showers are hot and beds are super comfy, the kitchen is well equipped an wifi was good even in the rooms! Traffic noise in the mornings was occasionally loud but this isn’t a reflection on the hostel, just something to note 🙂 definitely must stay here when in Quito!

Wonderful hostel. Sandra and Michael are the best hosts in Quito. Moved here after a miserable stay at another Quito hostel. What a difference!! Friendly staff, great bar with Happy Hour beer, fully equipped kitchen, and a big screen TV to watch the winter Olympics (never expected that in a hostel). WARNING! the hotel was full when I was there and I could not extend my stay so book early and for your entire stay in Quito.

I had a great time at Hostel Revolution, was planning on staying 3 days and ended up staying a week and a half. Thanks for the great stay Sandra! Its a quiter hostel which suited me great with lots of showers and lots of hot water. Happy hour beer prices also make me happy. Kitchen is available to use and is fully stocked. Also I think there are opportunities to work/volunteer at the hostel for free accomodation if you are thinking of staying for a while.

I enjoyed staying at this hostel. The owner is a crazy woman, in a good way, who is trying to make the place into something beyond awesome (she bought it 3 weeks ago). And THE SHOWERS HAVE BEEN FIXED!! It’s not a large hostel and NOT A PARTY HOSTEL, so if that’s what you’re looking for, try somewhere else. Only downside is the lack of breakfast but there is a good cheap cafe at bottom of street and hostel has a full kitchen and near a supermarket, so eary to do it yourself.

A new owner Has taken over the hostel since oct.1st and she is fantastic, so kind and caring and gives you loads of information about facilities in the area. Fully equiped kitchen, loads of DVDS, great wifi, à computer for guests to use. I would highly recommend. Thank you. Lorraine

The Hostel is located in the Old Town and really central. The atmosphere was great, especially with the terrace and the view over Quito. We felt safe, due to the fact, that everybody needed a key for the front door. We had a great stay! Thank you for everything!

A great hostel where there is a good social area if you’re up for a party but enough distance to have an early night if you need. For shared bathrooms they were kept nice and clean. Location is great for walking around the historical centre in the day and is only a $2-4usd taxi to the touristic centre (Plaza Foch) for restaurants, bars and clubs at night.

A fantastic hostel. Great friendly and very helpful staff.  Always immaculately clean.  Ratio of toilets/showers to beds is absolutely fantastic. Dorms beds were very large and had great underfed lockable (with your own padlock) storage.  Excellent WiFi.  Great selection of DVD’s in the TV room.  Very quiet area with great local amenities. The perfect distance from both the old town and then new town, either walking or on the bus.  Highly recommended.
